Legal
Terms
The terms for using this website.
Last updated: 19 June 2026
These terms cover your use of the Wyvern Web UK website at wyvernweb.uk. By using the site you accept them, so please read them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Project work is separate. Any website or service we build for you as a client is governed by the written quote and agreement we send you — not by these website terms.
Who we are
Wyvern Web UK is a web design business based in Somerset, run by Marcus Chaplin as a sole trader. You can contact us at hello@wyvernweb.uk.
Using the site
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse it — for example by attempting to break its security, disrupt it, scrape it for harmful purposes, or upload anything malicious.
Our content
The design, text, logos and graphics on this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You’re welcome to view and print pages for your own use, but please don’t reuse them commercially without our permission. (Ownership of work we create for clients transfers to the client under the separate project agreement, on full payment.)
Prices and quotes
Information on this site — including prices and the quick estimator — is for general guidance and isn’t a binding offer. “From” prices are starting points. We’ll always confirm the exact scope and a fixed price in writing before any work begins.
Links to other sites
We sometimes link to other websites for convenience. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content.
Availability and accuracy
We work to keep the site accurate, available and up to date, but we provide it “as is”. We don’t promise it will always be available or completely free of errors.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be excluded under the law. Otherwise, we aren’t liable for losses that weren’t reasonably foreseeable, or for any business losses, arising from your use of this site. Responsibility for project work is set out in the separate project agreement.
Changes
We may update the site and these terms from time to time. The version in place when you use the site is the one that applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Questions? Email hello@wyvernweb.uk.
